Meet Your Coach
I began my journey in golf at the age of 13, joining Finley Golf Club as a junior member. Throughout my high school years at East Chapel Hill, I represented the school team alongside Ben Griffin, who now competes on the PGA Tour. Outside of school golf, I competed in individual golf tournaments all over North and South Carolina on multiple tours like the Tarheel Youth Golf Association, Tarheel Golf Foundation, North Carolina Junior Golf Foundation, Carolinas Golf Association, and more.
My path to becoming a golf professional strengthened during my college years. I passed the Playing Ability Test for the PGA of America in 2017. I began the PGA Associate Education Program in September 2020, and it was during this journey that I discovered my passion for teaching and coaching golf.
In January 2023, I earned my PGA Class A Membership, solidifying my expertise in both the business and the game of golf. Countless lessons from my mentors shaped me into the professional I am today.
In July 2023, I transitioned to full-time teaching and coaching golf, launching Nate Parry Golf with a commitment to modernizing golf instruction. Recognizing traditional practice can be uninspiring and detached from the true golfing experience, I strive to revolutionize the golf learning experience by infusing it with fun and dynamic methods.
